Senior Salesforce Developer

The Business Systems Developer will be responsible for supporting the Financial & Business Systems team in solving our stakeholders' most complex problems across the in-scope applications that the teams are responsible for, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Workato, Quip and others. In addition to this primary responsibility, they will work with the Business Systems team by performing development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of critical in-scope applications for the Revenue, Customer, Business Operations, Marketing, Finance and Accounting functions. Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance & Business Systems, the Business Systems Manager will lead and deliver various performance improvement projects at Dataiku. 

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining critical system infrastructure supporting Dataiku’s year over year growth plans
  • Identifying & delivering on automation opportunities within the business systems landscape
  • Advise and Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
  • Develop and maintain workflows and processes in Salesforce to optimize the platform
  • Implement, Integrate, Customize, and Support our Salesforce instance as well as connected tools (e.g. Outreach, Clari, etc)
  • Develop, Test, Deploy and Document Salesforce Enhancements
  • Get informed on the latest features from the platform vendors and analyze how they could benefit the Business Systems Functions at Dataiku
  • Develop new Features and Functionality for existing applications
  • Able to manage multiple cross functional projects amongst various stakeholders 
  • Maintaining a service first approach for business partners 
  • Communicate changes in processes to key stakeholders across the organization
  • Assist and lead efforts to integrate Salesforce across the Finance & Business systems landscape
  • Assist and support development needs outside of the Business Systems teams purview (including some development within NetSuite and other financial systems)
  • Liaise with Dataiku teams to identify and define system enhancements
  • Driving education efforts within the broader team on development best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience with Salesforce
  • Minimum Salesforce Admin Certified, Salesforce Advanced Certified and Platform Developer 1 (Developer / Architect / Javascript Certifications a plus)
  • Deep knowledge and expertise within Salesforce config. and automation including CPQ+ 

(Workflows,Validation Rules, Assignments, Approval Processes, Process Builders, Flows, Price Books etc.)

  • Expertise in both developing and maintaining in Apex (Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development (including APEX, LWC, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, Java and JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in SFDC Customizations such as Custom Objects, Custom Tabs, Custom Fields, Validation rules, Workflow rules, Page Layouts, Record Types, Flow & Process Builders etc
  • Support processes promoting data integrity, data governance and compliance
  • Good understanding of interconnectivity between systems allowing to perform upstream and downstream impact analysis from multiple stakeholders’ point of view
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to concisely explain complex cross-functional processes. Ability to create clear/simple documentation - process guides & diagrams.
  • Experience Writing Advanced PDF/HTML Templates
  • Experience turning business processes into Salesforce best practice processes 
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Experience with iPaaS (Workato, Celigo, Skyvia Jitterbit, Boomi)
  • Experience with NetSuite and SuiteScript a plus
  • Curiosity and interest in learning in the admin and development of other best in class enterprise software applications 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.

US only national base pay ranges

$130,000—$145,000 USD
