Role
You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining an application done in Apex that runs on top of the Salesforce platform. You will also have the opportunity to face new challenges that will allow you to reach your potential.
These will be some of your tasks:
- Propose solutions for complex developments with architectural proposes or for epics with several features.
- Do ROMs for requirements with few details, propose different options based on possibilities and proper document options.
- Discuss with POs / design / other developers the requirements of tasks/epics and explain needs and consequences at very early stages of the process to help with planning on the technical side.
- Lead complex technical discussions and assist the rest of the team when they are responsible for tasks.
- Challenge the rest of the team members to think out of the box and explain their proposals.
- Help the rest of the team follow QA&CR team guidelines and help them improve their skills.
- Participate in technical discussions with other teams using other technologies to coordinate different projects' technical needs.
- Help other team members when preparing groomings, spikes, and reviews; assess technical proposals, etc.
- Detect gaps in the project and collaborate with the team lead to do technical planning (Split of stories or epics, spikes needed, dependencies and blockers between stories, areas of the project that need to be reviewed, etc).
- Write complex technical documentation, technical stories and epics, and assist other team members.
About you

Now, what are your other strengths?
- More than 5 years of experience as Salesforce Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Apex programming and Salesforce platform, up to date with latest features.
- Omnistudio experience.
- Certification Platform Developer II
- Good understanding of Object Orientation principles.
- MVC & MVVM (or other design patterns).
- Databases: experience in using SQL
- Experience in writing unit tests.
- Source control (Git).
- High level of Spanish.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Apart from these, it would be a plus if you know about Instruments to debug and improve performance of the application and knowledge in cloud platforms like Heroku or Amazon Web Services. Agile methodologies like Scrum are greatly appreciated!

What can you expect from our hiring process
1st step: Cultural fit interview
During this face-to-face interview, we want to meet the candidate and understand the expectations regarding career plan and motivation and give the candidate an overview of the role and Nuvolar's work environment. Also laying out everything we can offer you and what you can bring to our Nuvofamily so that we can succeed together!
2nd step: Technical test
If the cultural fit interview goes well, we will invite you to move forward and solve a technical challenge based on your role and experience and assessed by our technical team.
3rd step: Technical Interview with the team
After passing the technical test, it’s time for a technical discussion around the exercise to better understand your skills and an introduction to the Tech Lead and other team members to give you a better idea of Nuvolar's team culture and so you can meet some potential future colleagues.
