The Institutional Custody Team is tasked with securing and managing our company’s digital assets and developing new custody solutions. We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer experienced in high-security systems to enhance our existing frameworks and lead the creation of innovative custody technologies

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for our cryptocurrency wallet solutions using Golang
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems to support digital asset transactions and custody
  • Lead and participate in the decision-making process regarding system architecture, design patterns, and technology choices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and security experts, to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and integrate them into our products where applicable
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Extensive experience in backend development using Golang
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining cryptocurrency wallet solutions
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptographic principles, and secure coding practices
  • Exceptional skills in system architecture and design, with the ability to make informed decisions that impact the overall system
  • Familiarity with various blockchain protocols and standards
  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and other advanced cryptographic techniques
  • Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

Salary Range: $142,400 to $178,000
