About the Senior Software Engineer, iOS at Headspace Health:
Headspace Health is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join us in our mission to create a world where everyone is kind to their mind. In this role you will join a cross-functional team focused on creating engaging and immersive content experiences on a product that impacts more than 65M users. You will help us bring new features to life for clinical and subclinical programs to improve member outcomes, while also helping push our platform to newer technologies as we embrace the cutting edge. How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:
- Design and build features for the Headspace iOS application
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to produce technical specifications and determine the operational feasibility of products
- Write and maintain well-designed, testable, performant, and efficient code
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency
What you’ve accomplished:
- 4+ years of proven working experience in software development
- Deep familiarity with Swift/XCode
- Track record of architecting and writing technical specifications for medium to large sized projects
- A solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Experience working with or knowledge of MVVM architecture, RxSwift, SwiftUI, and Combine is strongly preferred
- Have published one or more iOS applications to the App Store and CD/CI experience (nice to have)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related experience
