What you’ll do
We seek naturally curious and enthusiastic learners who can adapt to solve the range of software and business problems that emerging startups typically encounter. As an early employee at an exciting company, you will be expected to think like a strategist and execute like an entrepreneur.
- Deeply understand our customers’ businesses - their strategic drivers, organizational structures, technology stacks, and key workflows - to uncover and anticipate their product needs
- Perform in-depth product discovery in partnership with our GTM teams, drilling beyond surface level needs and feature requests to uncover deeper level pains and true business priorities
- Own the product experience across all user personas including marketing, sales, sales operations and GTM leaders.
- Identify and anticipate new data sources for CloseFactor across different industries to steer our growth
- Use data and machine learning to drive intelligence capabilities throughout our stack
- Use our very high levels of customer engagement to create engaging and value moments inside our prospects’ journey
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years experience in customer-facing technical role as a product manager, consultant or as SaaS enterprise software sales engineering
- Ability to see the big picture from the customer’s standpoint, and tailor solutions to them
- Consistent diplomacy and poise while working with customers
- Outstanding communications skills in probing and understanding the drivers behind the problems voiced by the customers
- Aptitude for learning software and go-to-market best practices
- Creative thinking in building MVP or minimum viable features
- Experience with both user facing, as well as platform products
- Strong track record of successfully collaborating with engineering, designers, and business partners
- High confidence, low ego
Ideal qualifications
- Experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce
- Previous experience selling or implementing sales or marketing technology such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach, or SalesLoft
- Technical comfort with data science theories
- Experience with building product that produces insights/knowledge and recommendations, with a strong understanding for how to cultivate user trust for the insights
- Experience working in a successful early or mid-stage start-up
