Senior Technical UX Designer
·Design digital user interfaces by developing and testing layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices.
·Produce a wide variety of design artifacts such as mental models, user personas, workflow diagrams, glossaries, site maps, wireframes, rapid or high-fidelity prototypes, test scripts, pixel-perfect mock-ups, engineering-ready assets.
·Serve as subject matter expert for all accessibility inquiries and issues; including conducting accessibility audits, providing organizational training, and developing recommendations to ensure organization stays up to date on guideline updates.
·Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to lead design and user research efforts to develop streamlined workflows for complex AI and Machine learning capabilities and “high touch” priority capabilities within our products.
·Work closely with Engineering User Interface (UI) Development team to help establish Hoover’s User Experience (UX) component library and ensure that it is being utilized properly.
·Responsible for conducting in-depth research to collect customer pain points and feedback from our organization’s internal team and “hands on” end users.
·May work remotely from any location in the U.S. or any Dun & Bradstreet U.S. office.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field and two (2) years of experience (with Master’s) or five (5) years of experience (with Bachelor’s) in the job offered or a related User Experience, User Research, Human Computer Interaction or Computer Engineering role.
- Prior experience must include two (2) years (with Master’s) or five (5) years (with Bachelor’s) in/with: Using standard user-centered design and user research techniques including problem framing, understanding users and context, interviewing, ideation and iteration, usability testing, and measuring success; using front-end UI technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript; and analyzing user data and performing root cause analysis of technical solutions.
- Prior experience must also include two (2) years in/with: WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines and testing with assistive technologies for digital or mobile products.
- May work remotely from any location in the U.S. or any Dun & Bradstreet U.S. office.
