About the Role
Our goal is to make architectural design and direct manufacturing of houses accessible to everyone through a software solution that offers exceptional graphic visualization and usability. We are currently developing a BIM software that is directly linked to the production of buildings.
The Senior Technical Writer (Freelancer) will have the opportunity to create and develop the architectural documentation for our BIM software.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct thorough research on the product, processes, and internal users, and design the overall structure and layout of the documentation for our BIM software in English.
- Document specific architectural or structural components of the product.
- Create a structure for documenting the software for future development.
- Define the language style, formality level, and overall tone to be used throughout the documentation.
- Develop a comprehensive guide for writing and maintaining the documentation.

- Proven experience in drafting technical documentation for software, preferably within the BIM or civil engineering sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, linguistics, or a related field.
- Native English proficiency or advanced English skills.
- In-depth knowledge of technical documentation principles, including writing styles, authoring tools, and documentation management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear and understandable language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Submission of a portfolio of documentation with the application is required for initial evaluation. Please include a link to your personal portfolio.
€40 - €60 an hour
Salary Range: €40 - €60 per hour, depending on experience
PLACE OF WORK: Modena / Milano / Full-remote
