Senior UX Designer
Our client, a well-known tech/consumer brand in Boston, is looking for a freelance Senior UX Designer to join their Product Team for the next 6 months, possibly longer! This will be slated for 32 hours per week.
The Senior UX Designer will be supporting the B2B Product team in building usable, attractive and high-performing user experiences for products across both mobile and web!
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with engineering and product leads to concept, design, prototype, etc.
- Create user flows, sketches, use cases, personas, and other product design and communication artifacts
-Practice an evidence-based design approach, and apply user insights and customer feedback (including A/B testing) to rapidly iterate on your design
- Understand business strategy and how designs align with strategy
This role will largely be UX Design, with some Data Viz/Dashboard work from time to time.
The ideal Senior UX Designer will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a UX Design; tech/mobile/ecomm experience strongly preferred
- A portfolio showcasing your work and thought process
- Proficient in Sketch, Figma or InVision
- Ability to effectively present and communication design processes, ideas and solutions
- Familiar with HTML/CSS is helpful
- Previous experience working in an agile model and partnering with product managers and engineers on projects
This is a remote, 32 hours per week opportunity for the next 6 months+, possibly longer!
