Senior UX Designer
Job description
The Company
Our mission: Miaplaza, Inc. is dedicated to delivering innovative educational experiences that drive our mission of empowering children by providing them with exceptional learning experiences that fuel their personal growth and inspire them to make the world a better place. We are seeking talented senior UX designers who are passionate about using design to shape the future of learning. Miaplaza's main K-8 curriculum platform is Miacademy (miacademy.co), and the high school platform is MiaPrep (miaprep.com).
We're Growing! Our student base is growing rapidly, and we are currently hiring for multiple positions across several departments! Our expansion stems from two key factors: our commitment to providing exceptional educational content to our students by scaling our team with passionate individuals and our pursuit of new opportunities to enhance our students' learning experiences by broadening our capabilities and expertise as an organization.
The Position
As a Senior UX Designer at Miaplaza, you will spearhead UX design efforts, mentor junior designers, and ensure that the company's websites provide intuitive and seamless user experiences, particularly for students. You will focus on understanding user needs, testing design hypotheses, and measuring the impact of UX on customer success. Your role will include creating high-quality design deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing UX processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Although this is a fully remote position and you have the flexibility to work from anywhere, it's essential to have significant overlap with standard working hours in Europe, as most of our product team is based there. To ensure effective collaboration, you should be available to work between 11 AM EST (or earlier) and 1 PM EST several days out of the week. Outside of this core overlap period, you have complete flexibility in determining your work schedule.
