Senior UX Information Architect

We are looking for a talented Sr. UX Information Architect to join the Experience Design team. As a senior partner with XD and product, you'll increase findability, comprehension, engagement, support, and retention for our customers as they navigate our ecosystem of products and services. Your primary role will be structurally improving search user experience within as well as across collections and systems, improving the search user interface, ranking, collection, policy, metadata, governance, etc., as well as cooperating in the monitoring of the search experience.
This person will work across multiple touch points and surfaces to create consistency and usability in content organization, navigational hierarchy, naming, and wayfinding across the Service Titan applications, providing value to our customers and clarity for our XD and Product organization. This person is comfortable solving complex problems, identifying patterns, and creating simplicity.
What you’ll do
- Audit, assess, and inventory current user-facing information structures across multiple platforms and surfaces, including applications used by business owners, office administrators, dispatchers, and field technicians across SMBs and Commercial enterprises.
- Structurally improve the search user experience within and across collections and systems, improving the search user interface, collection, policy, metadata, governance, and co-operating in active monitoring.
- Lead and design metadata improvements needed for improved search, navigation, and overall end-user experience.
- Develop, propose, and implement intuitive user-facing solutions that provide consistency across the product ecosystem for product recognition, value, and usability.
- Create and maintain an information architecture that leads with "jobs to be done" from an end-user perspective, including navigation/wayfinding, feature adoption, onboarding, and goal-oriented task completion.
- Act from a human-centered design perspective, understanding UX fundamentals of product design, content design, and user research - while collaborating with those team members.
- Develop and share taxonomies, metadata models, and classification schemas that internally unify siloed product, operations, and content teams.
- Collaborate with senior XD and Product leaders across the company as an advocate for unified, seamless user experiences based on research-informed information architecture principles.
- Establish processes for managing and growing flexible and scalable IA that adjusts to new markets, user demands, and business needs.
What you’ll need
- 5-7 years of experience in information architecture, information design, content strategy, or product design with a focus on IA
- Strong writing and language skills, with an understanding of language models, taxonomies, linguistic principles, and AI/ML-driven conversations
- Demonstrated experience winning the trust, confidence, and commitment of design and product leaders and influencing their thinking
- Experience balancing the demands of delivery projects with the need to maintain the integrity of target information architecture
- Deep familiarity with process cycles for product, design, operations, content, and tech teams
- Demonstrated skill in working across multiple concurrent workstreams

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $113,000 - $162,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
