The role

We're on the lookout for an experienced and results-oriented UI/UX Designer to take the reins in shaping the user experience of our websites. We're not just after someone who can craft beautiful designs - we need a creative strategist with a knack for enhancing and optimizing our online presence through the delivery of functional templates and features. This role demands independence, proactive thinking and the ability to identify, propose and justify valuable product enhancements.

What you will do

  • Design framework ownership: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive design framework and system for our websites. Follow Atomic Design principles, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience, and engineer-friendly designs that are sustainable in the long term.
  • Conversion optimization: Monitor and assess user behavior and website performance to identify feature enhancements and usability improvements, aiming to increase conversions.
  • Brand ownership: Drive the development and evolution of SOAX’s visual identity across all digital platforms, and maintain the integrity of our brand presence.
  • Innovative approach: Be confident in proposing and using AI and automation tools to speed up processes and development, achieving more with less.
  • Multi-channel support: Collaborate with other teams by creating designs for various channels, including emails, blogs, social media, and more, ensuring a consistent brand identity and approach across all touchpoints.

What we're looking for

  • More than 5 years of hands-on experience in designing websites, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Proven expertise in web UX and a track record of delivering designs to drive measurable business impact, particularly through conversion rate optimization
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive approach to design, with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, capable of finding creative solutions to design challenges
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, where agility and adaptability are key
  • Willing to embrace emerging technologies such as AI to automate and optimize the design process
  • Good command of the English language
