Flatirons Development seeks a Senior Web Developer to join our rapidly growing team. Our ideal candidate is very detail oriented and cares greatly about the quality of the experiences they create. Our consultancy considers itself very design-forward, and we hope for a project manager that feels strongly about user experience and well-designed products. This position involves interacting with U.S.-based clients, so your English level must meet this standard. - Leading web applications for early-stage products in the U.S.
- Helping mentor other web developers
- Interacting directly with U.S.-based clients
- Working with PMs, QA, and design to ensure we deliver high-quality products in a timely manner
- Contributing to the growing culture of a team that is building beautiful, impactful products
ABOUTYOU
- You live in Latin America
- You have 5+ years of professional experience working with a one or more backend technology (Python+Node.js preferably)
- You have substantial experience with one or more backend frameworks(Django, Express.js, Nest.js, Flask,etc.)
- Ideally, you have experience with front-end development with frameworks such as React.js
- You have strong testing skills and understand the difference between smoketesting, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
- You like to work with and help improve the skills of other developers and are open to feedback on improving your own work
- You are detail-oriented and care about the end-user experience
- You are passionate about well-functioning software products
- You can manage an application by yourself if needed
- You have worked in an agile environment and are a team player
