We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization and a passion for understanding and improving search engine rankings. This role involves analyzing site performance, identifying strategic keyword opportunities, and implementing optimization tactics to drive organic traffic and engagement.
In this role, you will perform extensive keyword research for feature and blog pages, collaborate cross-functionally to create a 12 month content calendar, identify technical SEO opportunities, and propose new ideas on how to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine optimization.
This role will sit within our Growth Marketing team reporting to the SEO Manager and will collaborate closely with our Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams.
Your day-to-day:
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and identify high-value keywords relevant to our industry and target audience to guide content and optimization strategies
- Partner with SEO Manager and Content Manager to create a always-on content calendar to teach kids and parents about the world of money & beyond
- Optimize website content, including blog posts and product pages, for target keywords to improve search engine rankings
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement necessary on-page and off-page SEO optimizations, including meta tags, headings, alt text, and internal linking, to enhance website visibility and usability
- Monitor and analyze website performance, keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other key SEO metrics using internal and external tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Brightedge
- Identify opportunities for website improvement and develop strategies to not only increase organic search traffic, but also new parent signups
- Collaborate with content creators, website engineers, and other team members to implement SEO best practices throughout the website
- Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance to stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

What you’ll bring to the team:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in SEO, with a track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic
- Knowledge on search engine algorithms and ranking factors, with a focus on Google
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including the ability to recognize and identify indexing and crawl issues
- Experience in the finance, family, or parenting spaces is a plus

Our stance on salaries:
Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $80,000-110,00
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $80,000-100,00
