PROJECT SUMMARY

This is a contingent workforce, short term opportunity to support our Marketing team. 

We are searching for an SEO Specialist to assist in optimizing our website to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. The preferred candidate has an analytical mindset, knowledge of digital marketing, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the success of our website. If you are a problem solver who is genuinely curious about how and why people use search engines, interested in user centric web-marketing strategies in general, and relishes in the analytics and technology, then this could be the role for you.

This individual will report to the Director of Digital Experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform keyword research to identify valuable search terms and phrases that align with our target audience and business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive website audits to evaluate current SEO performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement effective on-page optimization initiatives – such as indexing, fixing errors, and redirections – to increase organic search rankings, traffic, and conversion rates.
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structure, to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and user intent.
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics, search console data, and other SEO tools to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO, and translate this knowledge into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to regular reports and presentations on SEO performance, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our SEO performance against industry competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with web developers and technical teams to implement SEO recommendations, resolve technical issues, and ensure website compliance with search engine guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience as an SEO Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of improving organic search rankings and driving measurable results. B2B/SaaS experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics and SEMrush is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets to extract meaningful insights and explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website architecture, with the ability to identify and resolve technical SEO issues. 
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic coding principles. Drupal is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work in a global distributed team. 
  • English working proficiency. A second language is a plus.
