Job description

The role is restricted to those physically located in Malta or Portugal. While this is an remote position, we cannot consider candidates that are not based in such region.

We are looking for a passionate SEO Content Editor to join our team managing primarily Swedish assets, to be responsible for content strategy of websites and content optimizations. The responsibilities of the role include proactive work on content plan of the websites, delivery of top-notch content to users as well as making sure the content is optimized and aligned to SEO strategy driven by SEO team.

As SEO Content Editor you are expected to:

  • Define and drive content strategy and ideation,
  • Collaborate with writers, proofread and publish content,
  • Collaborate with design and other departments to meet content goals and deadlines for product content calendar, making sure we deliver best content/infographics/information to users,
  • Collaborate with SEO team to make sure the content is SEO optimized and aligned with best practices; edit and update existing content to always keep it aligned with current SEO strategy,
  • Proactively seek out new writers to ensure we have the right resources to cover our needs,
  • Ensure all content follows copyright laws and legal requirements,
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to writers to ensure the quality and alignment of content with our standards and objectives,
  • Carry out content audits to ensure our content is compliant, up to date and meet quality standards,
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Job requirements

  • Native Swedish speaker,
  • Previous experience as editor/writer in iGaming industry,
  • Creative thinking and proactiveness in driving the content strategy of website,
  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO techniques, previous experience with SEO optimizations,
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools, such as GA4 and ability to read and analyse the data,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Experience with Wodpress is considered a plus,
  • Experience with Jira, Trello and other workflow management tools is considered a plus.
