Job Title: SEO Content Manager - Latam

Location: Remote (CST Timezone)

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM CST

Job Description:

The Content Manager will be tasked with managing content needs for our clients, specifically content for new websites and ongoing SEO-centric content. This includes working internally to understand client goals and preferences, and then ensuring content from writers reflects those. Accuracy and attention to detail will be critical to the success of the role. This person needs to first be a great editor of copy, and then secondarily good at coordinating the content projects between all important contributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting & Editing: Collaborate with writers to clarify topics and client-specific questions.
  • Develop and uphold brand standards and style guides for each client.
  • Proofread content to ensure it is free of grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
  • Occasionally create content or assist with content needs as required.
  • Project Management: Utilize company project management tools to monitor progress and manage tasks.
  • Oversee all active client content calendars to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Work alongside Digital Strategists and the ownership team to develop standardized brand style guides.
  • Implement company processes to effectively execute client strategies.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate client goals to various stakeholders involved in content creation.
  • Engage in strategy sessions to develop client-specific style guides.
  • Manage feedback from clients and Digital Strategists to refine content.
  • Offer constructive feedback to the writing team to enhance content quality over time.
  • Marketing Strategy & Analysis: Balance informative content with the objectives of customer acquisition.
  • Craft compelling written copy that resonates with target audiences and meets their needs.
  • Stay informed about various marketing strategies and content requirements for optimal balance between people, clients, and search engines.
  • Keep abreast of new tools and developments in the marketing space.
  • Areas of Accountability: Deliver accurate and error-free work.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all projects.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Produce content that reflects client preferences and goals

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in copy editing.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with Asana, Slack, and Google Docs.

Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience working with clients or customers.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.
  • Familiarity with WordPress administration.
