We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to focus on our Service Fusion Product.
Founded in 2014, Service Fusion, now an EverCommerce solution, serves nearly 4,000 field service contractors in over 20 residential and commercial service verticals with mission-critical business management software. While the largest segments of the customer base are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair contractors, our target customer is “anyone in a truck who comes to your home or business to perform a service.” Service Fusion allows such contractors to operate their business from anywhere with enterprise-level features at a small business price.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor AWS infrastructure to identify infrastructure issues early
- Write Terraform scripts to manage AWS infrastructure
- Help to maintain legacy EC2 instances
- Participate in development of new microservice architecture
- Participate in building a robust disaster recovery plan
- Help manage mobile app deployments using Visual Studio App Center
- Help create and manage bitbucket pipelines
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- 3+ years of experience working in Amazon Web Services
- Experience with infrastructure as code frameworks, such as Terraform
- Experience working with version control software, such as git
- Experience working with build pipelines and CI/CD
- Experience working with Docker management tools such as Elastic Container Service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly desired background:
- Linux system administration experience
- Experience working with deploying .Net applications
- Experience load testing in a cloud environment
- Experience with various deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary
- Experience using Jira for project management
- Experience with Visual Studio App Center
Where:
Service Fusion has an open floor plan office in Irving, TX. We’re a short car ride from downtown Dallas, a shorter car ride to Las Colinas, and an even shorter car ride to DFW Airport. The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. If you’re close to one of our offices, you can work in-office or in a hybrid set up, or this role can be 100% remote from anywhere in the United States. You must be eligible to work in the United States to qualify for this role.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
