Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our DevOps team. This role is a blend of traditional DevOps practices with modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, emphasizing automation, reliability, and security. You’ll work with leading-edge technology to maintain and enhance our cloud infrastructure, supporting our goal of high performance and reliability for our clients.

- Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000, commensurate with experience

Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first responder for system and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate daily with development teams to support various software development lifecycles
- Communicate directly with clients to provide support and guidance
- Assist with security testing and compliance
- Participate in pair programming, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
- Provide SRE support for internal systems and client contracts
Core Requirements
Technical Skills
- Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux command line, shell environments (bash, zsh, fish), system administration (permissions, RBAC, systems)
- Containerization: At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration systems
- CI/CD: Experience with modern CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo, or similar)
- Version Control: Advanced Git operations (merging, conflict resolution, cherry-picking)
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Networking: DNS configuration, CIDR notation, firewall management, network diagnostics (curl, nmap)
Soft Skills
- Strong work ethic for remote collaboration
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with openness to emerging technologies
- Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members
Preferred Experience
- Kubernetes administration (manifest creation, operations)
- Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and runners
- Programming experience (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java)
- Windows system administration and database operations

- Security: SAST, DAST, and penetration testing tools
