As one of Figma’s first Social Marketing Strategists, you’ll collaborate with a growing team of social marketers to re-imagine and uplevel our social presence on channels around the world. As a senior-level IC, your focus will be on combining a deep understanding of social data and insights with platform-level strategy + campaign-level ideation to enable best-in-class social marketing experiences + activations.

What you’ll do at Figma

  • Partner with a growing team of social marketers, with an emphasis on developing and executing best-in-class strategies, creative activations and content.
  • Develop a platform-level vision, strategy and roadmap for @Figma, inclusive of a clear framework that can inform prioritization, content, metrics and innovation.
  • Define and evangelize an approach for social ideation, one that can be applied across multiple product lines, audience types and brand moments (evergreen and tentpole).
  • Lead the end-to-end strategy (ideation to execution) for high-profile tentpole social activations, ones designed to introduce Figma to new audiences.
  • Model an insights-driven approach, proactively identifying and validating qualitative and quantitative observations from all platforms to fuel always-on tactics and tentpole activations.
  • Embed deeply with cross-functional teams, proactively delivering subject matter expertise and social insights to elevate marketing execution and fuel new ideas and experiences.
  • Present ideas and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, inspiring confidence via compelling presentations that excite, influence and accelerate strategic growth.
  • Collaborate to proactively develop, map and execute copy and content across all of Figma's social channels.
  • Nurture and shape engagement across priority social channels, growing both the breadth and depth of Figma’s communities to enable durable growth.
  • Establish new working relationships with platforms, vendors and brand partners to help develop an ecosystem of best-in-class strategies and capabilities.

Some projects you could work on:

  • Developing and executing the next generation of Figma's social strategies at a platform-level, accelerating our evolution from a one-product/one-region focus to a multi-product/global one
  • Leading cross-functional teams to create a pipeline of bespoke social marketing activations
  • Defining Figma’s approach to international social marketing community and growth
  • Collaborating with our Director of Social and Social Technologist to identify untapped opportunities for first-to-market innovations and audience growth

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Portfolio of breakthrough social marketing work at both a content and campaign level
  • 8+ years working in digital/social marketing with experience developing and executing bespoke campaigns designed to appeal to multiple audience types and personas.

Deep experience defining, evangelizing and driving end-to-end execution of social strategies at a platform level, inclusive of always-on tactics and tentpole activations.

  • Proven ability to concept and drive the development of high profile social activations, including leading cross-functional brainstorms and working sessions to identify and refine the highest-potential ideas.
  • Passion and proficiency for turning social data into actionable insights at both a content and campaign level, with a proven track record of identifying unexpected or untapped opportunities.
  • Proven ability to lead through collaboration, with the ability to inspire confidence across XFN partners at all levels through subject matter expertise, diplomacy and executive presence.
  • Adept at crafting and refining social copy and creative, pairing platform-level best practices with deep situational expertise (ex: product launches vs. live events vs. owned assets) to create content optimized for specific brand moments.
  • Experience nurturing + growing complex social communities; experience managing across multiple personas and/or product lines preferred.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.  

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Figma’s compensation and benefits are subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$109,000—$253,000 USD
