Software Developer

Currently, we are looking for a Software Developer for our Application Evolution and Management team in Poland.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Being part of a close-knit team of 4-6 professionals and a service line of several teams who support each other and share knowledge actively
- Monitoring, optimizing and evolving solutions, as well as resolving issues and service requests
- Collaborating directly with customers (context switching between 3-4 customers)
- Collaborating with internal teams of software architects, developers and other professionals working on the systems
- Writing codes that will power some of the most influential services in Europe
Your key skills:
- Tech skills & experience with web technologies, experience in more than one programming language
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one of the hyperscale public cloud providers (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud)
- Experience with Git
- Experience with React and/or serverless solutions
- Appreciation for code that is easily read by humans and efficiently executed by machines
- Strong motivation, ambition to develop skills and grow
- Self-organized ways of working and self-leadership skills
- Contributing to Nordcloud’s internal community and enabling the best collaboration between colleagues
- Strong communication skills in English
What sets you apart (we’d consider any of these a big plus):
- Previous experience in working directly with customers in operative or some other capacity
- Experience working in international environments with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies
- Experience with Java and containerized solutions or willingness to learn these skills
