Tasks

  • Development of new software as well as execution of unit tests and maintenance of existing software components
  • Participation in the definition and design of software requirements and architectures
  • Collaboration in the integration of software and hardware solutions from internal and external suppliers
  • Maintenance and extension of existing build environments
  • Maintenance and extension of Linux operating system configurations to optimize the software environment
  • Documentation of software requirements and implementation details for clear and traceable development
  • Continuous contribution to the improvement and optimization of established development processes
  • Maintenance and optimization of existing software to ensure performance and reliability profile
  • Successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable course of study, or alternatively completed training in a comparable IT profession
  • Initial experience in object-oriented software development, ideally with very good knowledge of the C++ programming language and experience in using software version control tools
  • V-Model knowledge and experience with aviation standards such as DO-178
  • Expertise with Linux and scripting languages ​​(e.g. Bash) is an advantage
  • Practical experience in defining software requirements and using third-party and open source libraries
  • Knowledge of programming languages ​​for GUI development and IP network knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to deal with full-stack issues and knowledge of bug tracking tools is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Existing work permit for the EU
