Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

As a Front-End Software Development Engineer, you will build software products with a focus on the front-end and middle tier. You will have the opportunity to work with other talented engineers and designers, leverage the best technologies to empower both end users and internal customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working with frontend technologies like Angular, TypeScript, Spring.
  • Help us build, improve and scale our products.
  • Actively participate in Agile team meetings such as exits, demos, retrospectives, grooming, and planning helping facilitate streamlined team functioning.
  • Working as part of the Software Development Lifecycle from inception through implementation and past release into customer use.
  • Participate in design and architecture solutions and discussions with other developers.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and help maintain code quality.

About You:

  • 2+ years in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript required
  • 1+ years of experience with UI frameworks – especially Angular – required
  • Worked in code repositories like Gitlab, BitBucket
  • Have a good understanding of SAAS
  • You have experience working on cloud platforms and products like AWS
  • You communicate well with backend developers and UX designers
  • You like to solve problems
  • CS degree or equivalent experience

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected base salary range for this position is $97,850 $125,280 USD annually based on several factors, including experience and geography. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus or sales commission bonus, depending on the role, and benefits that are designed to support you & your family. If you are hired at DreamBox Learning, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on considerations such as geographic location, skills, responsibilities of the role, education, and/or relevant experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the compensation of our current team members as a part of evaluating and extending any final offer.
