Software Engineer AIOps
Software Engineer AIOps are able to articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily. They have ownership over their work tasks, and embrace interacting with all levels of the team and raise challenges when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Provide counsel and advice on significant Engineering matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
Manage processes that are highly complex and impact the greater organization.
Design, develop and implement methods, processes, tools and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a timeseries database or data mart to find relationships and patterns.
May steer or manage sizable projects.
Participate in the delivery of the definitive enterprise AIOps platform capability that enables contextual in the moment decision-making capabilities across Technology & Business teams via analytics and unified enriched data visualization.
Focus on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Full software/application development lifecycle from analysis, design, development, test, production support.
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
Qualifications:

High School diploma required.
College degree preferred.
Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented design & programming paradigms.
Ability to conceptualize complex design and model using UML class diagrams and textual descriptions.
Critical thinker with ability to analyze trade-offs and the resulting implications.
Ability to design highly available and reliable applications, components and systems.
Ability to present designs to software/application development teams and incorporate feedback.
Ability to lead software/application coding efforts with limited direction.
Ability to coach junior software/application engineers.
Ability to design data and events for various platforms.
Experience using HTTP APIs to invoke cloud services.
Data engineering experience.
All around team-player.
Quick learner.
Experienced Python programming skills.
Experienced SQL programming skills.
Experienced Linux skills.
Additional Skills:
JavaScript, React or other web UI frameworks
Database design experience
Building machine learning models
Algorithm design experience
Time-series databases experience (influxdb a plus)
Application Performance Management systems experience (New Relic, Dynatrace a plus)
Docker/Kubernetes experience (OpenShift a plus)
Splunk experience
ServiceNow experience
Jira experience
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 100,500 - 167,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
