Summary

The Software Engineer, Backend is an independent problem solver who can also work well on a team. The Developer will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and support of software solutions, as well as ensuring that the solutions we deliver meet the expectations. In this role, the Developer will analyze and define functionality for system improvements and new applications. You will be responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of our backend services and infrastructure. You will take on new feature development from conception to completion, as well as maintaining and improving existing services.

You will

  • Understand requirements, look at the requirements, and determine an implementation plan.
  • Responsible for more complex bug fixes and debugging more complex tasks.
  • Understand how infrastructure and code influence and/or impact each other.
  • Work closely with senior developers to train and develop.
  • Integrate APIs and 3rd party solutions into the codebase.
  • Implement the customized solution which has been designed by more senior-level developers/technical leads/technical architects.
  • Identify upper environment issues.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively to meet our delivery expectations.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing web applications.

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or related field and/or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in C# (.Net Core)
  • Proficiency with the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working within a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred.
  • Experience working within a start-up and/or ambiguous environment, with proven experience to be adaptable preferred.

Bonus Points

  • Worked with the Swagger, Swashbuckle or other kinds of API documentation tooling
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization methods
