About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of front and back-end software applications. Your responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and system integration.
To ensure success as a product engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, experience with application development, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Top-rated product engineers create and implement advanced software systems that perfectly meet the needs of the company.
What You Will Do:
- Meet with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects
- Design software system architecture and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs
- Complete data structures and design patterns
- Develop and maintain internal software tools
- Write low-level and high-level code
- Troubleshoot and bug fix
- Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
- Collaborate with the design team on developing micro-services
- Write technical documents

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $175,000.00 - $245,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
