JOB DESCRIPTION
The Solution Design and Enterprise Architect will be responsible for driving end-to-end product planning and execution throughout the Product lifecycle. This position will define and prioritize customer requirements and work closely with internal and external teams to ensure all revenue and stakeholder requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and manages activities for Green Dot platforms and financial eco system, manage technical products and capabilities from definition and planning through production, release and end of life.
- Serves as the central resource with engineering design, process, test through their lifecycle.
- Focuses on cost/profit control.
- Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
- Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
- Manages the delivery of continuous and effective services and ensures project completion is within budget and in accordance with contract requirements.
- Manages migration strategies for legacy products.
- Owns multiple feature areas. Documenting and clearly communicating product decisions that happen within to the immediate team and stakeholders.
- Works on complex technical issue to their essential elements and communicate those elements as necessary to non-technical audiences.
- Works closely with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
- Defines functional and non-functional technical requirements and priorities with business owners and stakeholders.
- Triage product defects and ensure proper ownership and delegation towards resolutions.
- Manages compliance with all IT governance standards through approved tools, templates, policies, procedures, and process leanings.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required and Master’s degree preferred
- Technical background, with 10 years of product management experience preferred
- SDLC and agile methodology experience
- 7 years of knowledge of FinTech products and services preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of JIRA
- Practical understanding of how service oriented back ends are built and how structured
- Practical understanding of web and/or mobile product best practices
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
