Split Test Developer
Job description
While this is an remote position, candidates must be based in Europe.
We are looking for a Split Test Developer knowledgeable in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, wordpress and PHP to build the product’s successful variant on the server side for our products in casino, sports and longtail verticals. The right candidate will be reporting to our tech leads for building and delivering high quality, mobile first A/B variants on our wordpress and PHP based platforms. If you are a person who values QA, has experience in building bullet proof split variant pages, is knowledgeable in PHP, knows what headless is, this is the role for you!
As Split Test Developer you are expected to …
- Code and deliver high-quality software
- Build multivariate tests on the main web/mobile product
- Work closely with members of the digital team: SEO, Analytics and data, developers, UX and design in an Agile environment
- Deploy best practices in building hypothesis in-line with the tech team building the product.
- Have an eye for implementing details
- Implement both backend and front-end features
- Share and implement ideas, best practices, and processes towards the improvement of the products and the business
- Abide by industry and company software development standards
- Provide support and guidance to team members
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management

- Developing DRY, clean, maintainable and scalable code that can be comprehended and worked on solely through documentation created.

Job requirements
Must Have
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript/Typescript
- Worked with modern frameworks (Svelte preferably, but also React/Vue/Angular)
- Experience with working with and maintaining database structures (Postgres preferably)
- Experience with git, tests and other tooling
- Experience with Svelte/supabase is a big plus
- Tech degree or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years)
- Extensive knowledge of databases and operating systems
- Deep knowledge of coding language and vast programming experience
- Extensive understanding of the software development life-cycle
- Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways
- Ability to learn and transmit knowledge on new software and technologies
- Ability to mentor and coach others
Nice to have
- Experience with testing tools such as Google Optimize and VWO
- Knowledge in Javascript front-end frameworks such as Sveltekit and NextJS
