Sr Business Manager, Marketing
Job Purpose:
The Business Manager’s primary responsibility is to define, own and drive efficiencies and best practices that promote operational excellence and extensive and sustainable growth while aligning with Business Marketing goals. This includes the coordination of measurement, planning, infrastructure management processes.
Responsible for coordinating and consolidating the development of the marketing strategy (3–5-year plan) and annual planning processes as directed by the B2B Marketing Leadership team. Hosting milestone meetings, consolidating plans to a single integrated plan, and quarterly performance reviews that demonstrates Business Marketing’s impact to the business. Manages and facilitates Business Marketing Optimization assessments and system business requirements for Marketing Technology to support the process and business marketing goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides dependable advice and consultation to the Business Marketing leadership team, leveraging marketing performance data to achieve alignment with corporate strategy.
- Create and execute a communications plan to keep the Marketing team aligned and to highlight the teams’ work, tests, projects, and successes.
- Orchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, integrated calendar), ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with audience and sales objectives.
- Engage data acquisition and analytics (report build) to provide B2B market, customer and competitive insights to inform strategy planning.
- Ensures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting is delivered to communicate marketing’s contribution to the business.
- Coordinates the budget strategy and manages the budget allocation and reconciliation process.
- Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key cross-organizational partners to identify opportunities for alignment, standardization and efficiency.
- Design and execute process management improvements and change management strategies to enable an increasing pace of change to operationalize repeatable processes, driving less process duplication and more strategy and innovation.
- Gathers and disseminates internal and external marketing best practices, identify areas of potential growth, optimization and opportunities for team members, driving programs to address the opportunities.
- Lead and facilitate engagement survey follow-up activity to prioritize focus areas across the team and participate in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the leadership team.
- Promote company culture and vision and confirm department goals are aligned.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related fields or equivalent related professional work experience required.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, analytics, process improvement, business planning, or related fields.
- Strong organizational, analytical and assessment skills with the ability to aggregate, organize, and clearly communicate recommendations, strong business acumen required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with ability to influence the development and execution of key operational strategies and projects.
- Strong communication skills demonstrated both in writing and verbally; ability to communicate on behalf of senior management.
- Proven ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion; strong project management experience required.
- Ability to attract, motivate, lead, coach and develop others.
- Strong time-management, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Drives change through communication of vision and objectives to gain organizational buy-in.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets, graphic software, and Internet/Intranet applications.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$112,300.00 - $168,500.00
