Senior Finance Manager - Merchandising Finance

The Senior Finance Manager will be a key partner providing planning, forecasting, reporting and decision support for these functions. The successful candidate will be an analytical thought leader with a strong bias to action and the ability to collaborate across functions. The candidate should also have a proven track record of managing a team with competing priorities and providing clear guidance in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Responsibilities include:Deliver insightful financial reporting/analyses that communicates key performance drivers to the business
  • Lead regular reviews to ensure key financial commitments are delivered
  • Recommend and implement benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
  • Develop financial metrics and insights that identify expense opportunities and drive productivity
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation and process standardization
  • Develops business cases for key initiatives and major programs by creating robust financial model; identifies risks to the organization and engaging the business owner in risk mitigation and trade-offs


  • Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related analytical field
  • 7+ years’ experience in a finance or analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills; highly detail oriented
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skills in building and developing a team
  • Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, TM1, Hyperion/Essbase, Business Objects, Cognos, Teradata, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-pace environment and manage multiple competing priorities
