Ubiminds is assisting an Edtech startup that provides a single point of communication and data-sharing around the individual needs of students, with an easily accessible, user-friendly dashboard that is available to teachers whenever they need it.
Challenge
As a Senior Fullstack Web Developer, you will be in a hands-on role building rich experiences, backend and frontend services, and making sure the code performs as intended, and that users love to use it.
What you'll do
• Build reliable, observable, resilient, and scalable code that powers web applications supporting our customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work on both server and client-side web software.
• Develop web applications with Python (Django) and Javascript (React).
• Inspire and mentor junior developers as they ramp up their knowledge and experience alongside you.
• Work closely with the implementation customer-facing team.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
• Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid experience using Python and Django as well as Javascript and React.
• Experience with AWS-hosted environments.
• Experience with MySQL database.
Nice-to-have
• Best practices of software development.
Non-technical skills
• Being curious: constantly seeking knowledge, and information, and also sharing them with teammates.
• Self-starter, proactive, with a sense of ownership, who rises to want to grow into a leadership position.
