How you will make an impact:

Within AIG BTO, we are embarking on a Transformation journey across various functions that will change and innovate our ways of working across the organization. The AIG BTO manager will lead transformation initiatives on a global scale, applying project management and PPI/continuous improvement methodologies to ensure efficient and successful project implementations. This role will collaborate with multiple teams across Operations, Finance, Technology, Customer Service, Talent, Human resources, Change management and other teams to ensure effective and efficient process design and execution.

Key to this role is the ability to build cross-functional relationships, apply critical thinking skills, and obtain results through changing and improving the way we work. You will partner with the business to drive innovation, create structure, and enable teams to achieve our transformation goals. You will use your influence as a change agent to innovate, optimize and scale AIG processes.

What you will do:

  • Implement large-scale Transformation initiatives, using leading practices and industry standards to drive global standards across AIG
  • Partner closely to define opportunities, business benefits, build out detailed implementation plans and measure business outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction while ensuring a high level of standardization and minimization of local variants throughout project execution.
  • Lead and/or project manage transformation and continuous improvement projects that lead to standardized processes, improved accuracy and efficiency, reduced operating costs.
  • Wear multiple hats and ability to handle multiple strategic and operational projects
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and willingness to try new things

How you will get here:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • Preferred-Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field;

Work Experience

  • Prior experience in finance or care function in a large complex operating model
  • Business & Financial savvy: Senior manager who has demonstrated credibility in workstream areas of transformation (Could be transformation in Finance, Operations and Supply chain, Order to Cash, Customer Service, Order Management etc). Actual drivers of performance, and how strategic metrics translate into finical metrics and then into operational drivers
  • Strategic perspective: Understanding of Business strategy, how the vision links to the transformation program, specific workstreams/initiatives; Ability to forecast predictive performance of workstreams/initiatives and suggest interventions
  • Prior experience in project management on implementing and navigating complex organizational change strategies (people, process, technology)
  • Consulting background preferred

  • Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)
  • Creates productive tension: Willing to challenge status quo and challenge/push the ambitions of the Strategic Programs and Delivery team
  • Works horizontally: Comfortable working across silos in the organization with other workstream owners in managing interdependent complexities, roadblocks
  • Prior experiences: Has led sizable programs and/or projects successfully from conceptualization to planning to execution & benefits delivery

Travel requirements

  • Up to 25% domestic/international travel may be required
