As the leader of the North American field clinical engineering team, you will be drive a successful field support organization by providing vision and tactical leadership. You will achieve optimal business results and excellent customer satisfaction across the installed bases of Monarch and any other products as assigned to build long term customer success by ensuring new and existing customers have optimized clinical workflows and by driving clinical proficiency with Ethicon technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation and administration of the Field Clinical Engineering team
  • Provide direction and/or support to personnel providing clinical case support in robotic bronchoscopy procedures to drive optimal clinical outcomes
  • Ensure your team support new program launches and advanced user training for existing customers
  • Maximize clinical efficiency of customers to drive improvements in patient outcomes
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent to create an exemplary Field Clinical Engineering organization to strengthen your team
  • Provide leadership to help drive customer loyalty and employee satisfaction
  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction by using customer feedback programs and direct customer engagement to accelerate the implementation of effective solutions
  • Improve profitability of the services business by optimizing labor expense
  • Maintain on-going, cross-functional communication to ensure that there is adequate liaison with Sales/Marketing, Training, and Support Services on key customer issues
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable Quality Management System and Regulatory policies and procedures

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of related clinical and/or medical industry work experience with proven experience providing training and support on complex topics or technology
  • 2 years of experience leading field training, sales, marketing, education or services within the hospital/medical device industry
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.
  • Able to collaborate with customers and colleagues in a very positive, professional manner
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
  • Ability to travel up to 75% with frequent overnight travel
  • Current valid driver’s license and good driving record over last three years

PREFERRED

  • Degree in scientific, technical, engineering or related field
  • Procedural support experience in bronchoscopy/endoscopy or related procedures

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $127,000 to $204,700
