The Role
This position is responsible for managing IT Development for Digital Operations, specifically focused on enterprise digital communications. This role includes both people management and technical leadership, requiring the best candidate to bring deep Salesforce.com Digital Engagement and ServiceNow software expertise, a desire to innovate, strong business acumen and exceptional communications skills. This senior manager will be responsible for a team developing within Salesforce.com Digital Engagement and ServiceNow platforms as well as multiple premise-based applications, providing day to day production support, collaborating with enterprise architecture, digital and customer experience teams, and digital operations executives & operations teams. The role will collaboration with business partners to build and enhance solutions to drive enterprise revenue growth via effective commercial positioning across the corporate product and solution portfolio.
The Main Responsibilities
- Manage a team of software & data engineers to ensure they complete development activities and deliverables on time and with client satisfaction
- Hire, develop & retain key talent
- Promote innovation in digital communications to transform the employee and customer experience
- Ensure the best solution is designed and implemented on time and with quality for each software release within the Agile Framework.
- Provide for the timely and accurate resolution of business partner service requests, prompt replies to business partner or management inquiries, and regular feedback regarding application status opportunities, and problems.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically with 5-7 years related experience and 2+ years previous manager level leadership experience referred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field or the equivalent in training and experience
- 5+ years of proven development / software engineering experience in a Technology environment.
- 2+ years of experience leading and/or managing a JAVA application development team.
- Track record of fast learning and adaption to the new technology and environment.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
- Leadership of business system application development team(s)
