Sr. Manager, Procure to Pay Operations

The Senior Manager of Procure to Pay Operations will be responsible for leading our procure-to-pay (“P2P”) operational cycles, and driving the strategy of how we continue to scale and transform globally as we continue to grow existing locations, add in new locations and work closely with Finance leadership to solve our most complex cross-functional challenges in this space. They will be responsible for delivering on a number of key priorities and goals. The role will work closely with other teams within Finance including Strategic Sourcing, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and cross-functionally with other teams such as the People Group, Legal, IT, and the wider business. This role will be a coach and a leader to a number of team members, and also be responsible for continuing to build out a high-performing team. This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller and the ideal candidate will have experience with implementing P2P automation technology solutions and be well versed in lean six sigma and process optimization, with a strong understanding of full cycle procure to pay.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for leading the procurement operations and accounts payable functions in compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Effectively identify, recommend, and implement scalable process optimization, resource efficiency and automation opportunities
  • Ensure the P2P teams consistently meet or exceed their targets, goals, and objectives
  • Develop and report Key Performance Indicators with a focus on providing the highest quality service
  • Act as point of escalation for the team and business process owners to ensure timely remediation of issues
  • Partner closely with Strategic Sourcing on enhancing the intake process and vendor risk monitoring, along with other relevant projects.
  • Partner with treasury to plan and execute cash management needs
  • Participate in the implementation of any Procure to Pay Solutions and/or System Upgrades and develop new processes and procedures to address changes 
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and maintain the integrity of vendor files and documents, such as W-9’s, to ensure compliant, complete, and accurate information
  • Collaborate closely with F&A for an efficient close process and to produce accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure timeliness of annual vendor 1099’s and other tax-related filings
  • Lead the team in implementing internal control procedures (SOX)
  • Work closely with external auditors during audit by preparing requested information and addressing auditor inquiries
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Participate in special projects, analysis and ad-hoc tasks as required by management

What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of progressive procure to pay experience in a high growth environment; ideally, a public accounting/private industry mix

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Seasoned professional with deep experience across procure-to-pay operations
  • Experience with Procure to Pay software implementation and/or enhancements
  • CPA preferred (Active or Inactive)
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP
  • Possess excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Experience designing and implementing new policies and procedures with proven ability to drive process and system improvements
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Able to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlines
  • Positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills including conscientiousness, diplomacy, flexibility, dependability, and, last but not least, a good sense of humor

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $169,900- $ 254,900.
