We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Website Content to lead and collaborate with other members of the Web Production team to leverage tools in the Adobe suite (Test & Target, Launch) when needed as part of the content authoring process. In this mission critical role, you will lead a team of content authors (Web Production) who manage web content and experience updates across the McGraw Hill corporate web site (mheducation.com).
How can you make an Impact?
The Senior Manager is responsible for authoring web content in our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system (CMS). This individual will manage content authoring projects across all business units and partner with marketing and product stakeholders as well as design, UX, accessibility and engineering counterparts. Will effectively enhance, evolve, and maintain web content and web experience features that are easy to use, accessible, adhere to web and SEO best practices, and are aligned to the McGraw Hill brand guidelines and web style guide.
What will you do?
- Manage content authors to migrate web pages/sites to new templates and components in Adobe Experience Manager BS5 to meet the business unit needs
- Meet or beat SLAs for project turn around, to include supporting rapid turnaround for high priority projects when needed
- Ensure that authored experiences adhere to accessibility and SEO best practices, to include performing testing before publishing content and ensuring that content and brand experience meet MH Brand Guidelines
- Manage digital assets within the DAM (Digital Asset Manager) and Amazon S3 by following best practices
- Leverage Adobe Experience Manager to the full extent of the capability (authoring, target, launch). Train and lead the team on AEM best practices. Improve the process to increase feature use, create more consistent experiences, and improve speed to market
- Work closely with business partners (Corporate, School, Higher Ed, Professional and International) to ensure content is represented correctly and requirements are implemented as requested on the website. Partner with engineering as needed related to platform upgrades to AEM or the Adobe suite (suggesting new templates/components, submitting bugs, etc.)
- Collaborate with analytics lead to monitor performance of content and experience updates, review key metrics on site content performance and provide test ideas to the team
What can you bring to the role?
- 5 – 7 years’ experience building online experiences and using web content management systems
- Minimum 3 years’ team management experience, with an interest and desire to provide hands-on content development
- Deep expertise building web journeys with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system (CMS)
- Previous experience with DAM (Digital Asset Manager) and Amazon S3 preferred
- Experience conducting A/B testing and building personalized experiences with Adobe Target
- Proficient in converting design mockups to SEO friendly webpages
- Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and deriving insights to improve performance of the web experience
- Agile project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with business unit marketing teams to create content rich web pages

The pay range for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
