Sr. Marketing Content Specialist
MUST BE WITH IN 20 MILES OF FORT MILL, SC (NOT REMOTE)
Position Purpose:The Sr. Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for developing, updating and delivering marketing campaigns and materials to drive awareness for The Home Depot Rental—its products, brands and features— both internally and to external customers. This role will focus around content creation, messaging and copywriting and managing project deliverables and timelines.
The Sr. Marketing Content Specialist (MCS) must excel at collaborating cross-functionally with partners including marketing, merchandising, creative agencies and other vendors. The Sr. MCS must be comfortable seeking out information and collaborating independently, with internal stakeholders and teams. The Sr. MCS should have professional experience with an established, national brand designing flawless assets for digital environments. This role must be able to take an idea from scratch through completion with minimal direction on design best-practices and brand-adherence. This role should be proactive in understanding The Home Depot Rental's broader ecosystem and opportunities for integrated communication. The Sr. MCS should proactively own the lifecycle of a campaign and other work as assigned, including research, creating, proofing, testing, tracking and optimizing where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
70% Creating/Tracking/Optimizing to Drive Awareness and Intent - Partner with Creative Services Manager, internal teams and agencies to conceptualize and design marketing communication and materials including but not limited to video, email marketing, newsletters, social media content, brochures and catalogs to drive awareness and engagement with The Home Depot Rental brand; Partner with merchandising as necessary to identify products to be featured in campaigns and owned channels; Execute communication plans to support business initiatives; Assist with outlining strategic approach and execute brand influencer program; Gives formally organized presentations to present final work, to gain alignment, solicit feedback, present ideas, share results, and/or provide status on projects or campaigns.
30% Managing Project Deliverables - Own all phases of the marketing communication creation from sourcing all necessary information/assets, to creating materials, publishing, tracking, testing and optimizing; This includes fast-track requests for marketing support, knowing what questions to ask and who to partner with to successfully create and implement campaigns; Measure messaging effectiveness by creating and conducting creative testing, soliciting feedback and reviewing campaign metrics; Proactively make/implement recommendations for improvement and track progress; Develop and present creative brief and project completion communication documentation for all non-day-to-day campaign work; Collaborate with Creative Services Manager and agencies to coordinate and execute studio and on-location production shoots.

- Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Working Conditions:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Four+ years of design and production experience in a professional setting developing content (copy, video, and graphic assets) to support a digital application in a B2B or B2C environment
- Knack for generating wide variety of creative ideas that are on-strategy and confidence in presenting them to clients and stakeholders
- Ability to quickly understand stakeholder and campaign objectives and deliver communications to achieve them
- Ability to create flawless design that gets attention, navigating multiple styles from promotional to technical, while adhering to brand standards, copy/design guidelines and grammar rules
- Self-starter, able to work independently and collaborate to meet deadlines and stakeholder objectives
- Willingness to dig for details, sense of curiosity with can-do attitude

- Strong proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), Video Creation and Sound Software, Project Management, Content Management Systems - ZenDesk or the like, Digital Asset Management Systems
