Sr. Mechanical Engineer

What you will do:

  • System level architecture definition and collaboration with firmware and mechanical teams
  • Testing & hardware validation
  • Launching products with overseas manufacturing partners
  • Extend and maintain existing product lines
  • Collaborate with remote software and firmware engineering teams

What you will have: 

  • Hands-on experience managing interdisciplinary teams resulting in a proven track record in schedule and budget performance in the process of bringing new products into production.
  • Complete product life cycle experience - architecture, engineering, transfer manufacturing, and stringent QA goals
  • Experience bringing new products into production including industrial design, electrical design and manufacturing specialists to optimize a product solution.
  • Senior level skills in architecting, designing, documenting, and manufacturing of mid to high volume production.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal stamping
  • Working familiarity with analytical techniques to support part and system level designs including basic calculations, structural Finite Element Analysis, and Thermal Analysis
  • Active 3-D solid modeling experience in Solidworks
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or equivalent

We are a distributed team with offices in California and Kyiv, Ukraine. This position will be remote within the United States.
