The Role
This role will develop and manage a suite of SASE Delivery and support services as part of a diverse team. Will need the ability assess needs in the market, prioritize the development initiatives and drive value to our organization through the creation, development, and monetization of new capabilities. Seeking someone who is technically savvy and craves the chance to own and develop a key product line that delivers critical value to our customers and corporate strategy.
The Main Responsibilities
- Manage a set of delivery and support packages Supporting enterprise and mid-markets customers.
- Design and develop requirements for our cross-functional teams
- Create, manage, prioritize and advocate for your team’s backlog based on current and future value
- Proactively gather ongoing needs from various internal and external stakeholders, including customers, engineering management, product managers, sales/accounts and more
- Work with customers and third parties to guide their technical strategy by integrating with Lumen SASE services to solve business challenges
- Drive on time delivery of features and client implementations and coordinate any associated launch activities in a highly matrixed organization
- Execute on the business strategy and deliver non-functional features of Lumens SASE products
- Work with a cross functional team to assess new feature requests to create and drive a long-term roadmap
- Drive Revenue and user growth of SASE Based Services and associated products
- Evaluate and scrutinize the project plan and all product specifications for accuracy, completeness, and achievability.
- Must be an expert in complex product design; must have a conversational understanding of workflow and , and must understand Security and networking technologies.
- Team leader that can cast vision, illustrate tactics/strategy, and hold team members accountable.
- Must be a corporate spokesperson, sales support expert, and teacher to our junior and senior product managers across all VPs and extending to other business units.
- Ability to synthesize findings, prepare reports, create executive level documents and recommend solutions.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in a Product Manager role managing software products that include API functions
- Experience with agile project management of large, cross-functional technology or software initiatives.
- Previous experience working in an enterprise IT & Product organization
- Proven ability to coordinate the delivery of new features across multiple teams
- Proven record of creating successful technical products and can show concrete examples of your experience managing complex products through the product development lifecycle
- Strong communication both orally and in writing, including formal presentations and the facilitation of group planning sessions.
- Previous experience with analytics, data, forecasting, and developing business cases.
- Can demonstrate the ability to negotiate and resolve issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
- Excellent attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in parallel.
- Develop and lead cross-functional processes and clearly articulate complex information to achieve common goals.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and product management best practices
- Have a strong understanding of development concepts and processes, and industry best practices for Software and services development

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
