Sr. Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing team. You’ll own all product marketing responsibilities for our Healthcare Navigation product that provides one place to go for all healthcare needs. You will work closely with the broader Corporate Marketing team, GM, Sales, and Consultant Relations team to ensure our product positioning is powerful and crisp, creating a range of assets to communicate a compelling story in the market and bring the product experience to life to to drive the sales pipeline and win deals. 

You’re equally comfortable writing a narrative, creating compelling visuals, and crunching numbers. You know how to communicate complex ideas in simple ways through a combination of storytelling and data. You have a history of delivering results in complex, cross-functional projects. You can demonstrate a deep understanding of our buyers’ employee healthcare challenges and how to connect them to Included Health products and services that will deliver value. 

In this role, you will own the full stack of product marketing responsibilities for Healthcare Navigation--positioning, packaging, and competitive intelligence. You will drive the Healthcare Navigation narrative to ensure that our story is crisp and easy to understand for our sales team and our buyers. You’ll identify messages to stand out from our competition. You will work with the GM product and clinical teams to identify product opportunities and create Healthcare Navigation packages that are simple to understand, differentiated, and valuable to customers and members. And finally, you’ll constantly monitor the market, run market research, and develop strong relationships with our go-to-market team to ensure that everything we do and build — and how we talk about our products – is founded in a deep understanding of our buyers and the market.

The position is ultimately about go-to-market strategy, effective marketing, sound decision making, and relationship-building. We are a small team in a scaling organization and you will have an opportunity to create instant and lasting impact. Expect a steady flow of special projects, as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compelling product positioning and messaging for specific customer segments including employers, health plans, and labor & trust.
  • Develop and maintain a deep perspective on the market landscape, both competitors and buyers, to inform positioning, packaging, and pricing
  • Provide competitive/market intel including detail on feature set comparison, comparison of competitive positioning, and pricing and draw insights
  • Build, maintain and expand a suite of market-facing materials and tools that support our GTM team and work with our training team to train sales
  • Product market research to inform our product teams
  • Develop member experience demos and materials to support go-to-market
  • Work collaboratively with the other marketing teams within Corporate Marketing to create a range of marketing assets that may be further customized for marketing campaigns, prospecting, and opportunity pursuits.  
  • Partner with Client Marketing to develop compelling Case Stories and Member Experiences
  • Partner with Content Marketing to support a product-led content strategy to drive brand awareness and build our pipeline
  • Develop impact analysis tools with partnership from solutions consulting and analytics
  • Develop data-driven product narratives including validation initiatives and documentation
  • Own market-facing statistics with support from the analytics team
  • Support the development of our proposal content library and provide proposal support for specific deals
  • Product and service-line documentation for all buyer segments

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Marketing experience, ideally in the employer benefits space or working with large enterprise buyers
  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional strategic instincts
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to package findings into market-facing collateral in a crisp, thoughtful and persuasive manner
  • Sound business judgment and problem framing
  • Superior storytelling skills to weave a compelling visual narrative
  • Enthusiastic collaborator who is able to effectively work across teams with many different stakeholders
  • Deep interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and execute multiple projects concurrently
  • Desire and ability to succeed in a demanding, creative, and entrepreneurial environment
