About the Role:

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Octave, you will play a pivotal role in connecting the dots between Brand and Growth teams under the marketing umbrella. Reporting into Marketing Leadership, your objective will be to effectively manage and execute the key projects across the marketing organization. This role should possess deep experience in stakeholder management, creative and brand process, customer insights, and growth channel tactics. Collaboration with product, design, content, agencies, paid channel experts, and business intelligence teams will be essential to identify growth opportunities across the business.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with Marketing Leadership to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that align with business goals. Serve as a key advisor to the marketing leadership team on high-priority projects and initiatives.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of various projects including, but not limited to marketing campaigns, feature launch launches, new channel expansion, and other critical initiatives. Coordinate with teams across marketing, partnerships, creative, product, growth and care nav and providers to drive alignment and execution. 
  • Brand Management and Oversight: Oversee all marketing communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with brand guidelines. Draft and edit key communications, including executive presentations, internal memos, and external announcements.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct, coordinate and oversee market research to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and drive data-driven decision-making. 
  • Strategic Messaging: Develop compelling messaging for initiatives and collateral across various parts of the marketing funnel that balance brand pillars and product positioning value props.
  • Stakeholder Manager: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across key initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates to Marketing leadership and partners, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with company objectives and deliver measurable results. 
  • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to streamline marketing and creative operations and improve efficiency. Implement best practices for project management, budgeting, and resource allocation. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prefer 6+ years experience in integrated marketing campaigns across platforms including adtech and martech including GTM, Google Analytics, DSPs, Google media channels Meta, LinkedIn, Direct Mail, OOH, streaming/connected TV, audio, localized strategies etc.
  • Extensive experience with analytics tools, project and process management, stakeholder communication, and product positioning. 
  • Previous exposure to healthcare or regulated industries is preferred; familiarity with HIPAA requirements and their implications for marketing activities.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Deep expertise in analytics tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, and/or Mixpanel with the ability to interpret and extract insights from multiple and complex data sources and effectively communicate those results across the organization.
  • Partner and Stakeholder Management: Experience in effectively managing and communicating with agency, consulting, freelance partners, and stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, capable of sharing insights and working effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven Campaign Optimization: Define experiment learning agendas and optimize campaign set ups to drive meaningful insights and performance improvements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with others through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. 
  • Must be able to observe and communicate information on company provided laptop. 
  • Move up to 10 pounds on occasion. 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future. 

The salary range for zone 1 (all states not in zone 2 or zone 3) is $132,100 - $153,100.

The salary range for zone 2 (CO, HI, MD, RI) is $145,300 - $156,900.

The salary range for zone 3 (AK, CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, WA) is $154,00 - $164,000.

All zones are eligible for equity in the form of stock options.

Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
