About the Team:
The CrowdStrike Intelligence Editorial team—part of Intelligence Publishing—edits, formats, and publishes all CrowdStrike Intelligence. The Intel Editorial team works closely with analysts, writers, engineers, and creative services to produce high-quality, impactful, and competitive cybersecurity content.
About the Role:
Senior technical editors on this team are organized, highly skilled, details-focused, efficient, reliable, collaborative, and open-minded. They are responsible for:
- Improving the quality and readability of all reports published by CrowdStrike Intelligence, including demonstrating an exceptional details-focused practice and skill set to repair or augment grammar, sentence structure, clarity, and conciseness
- Collaborating with writers, analysts, engineers, creative services, and other editors to efficiently and effectively publish a wide range of finished intelligence products
- Independently performing all editing-related tasks to the highest standards, including monitoring all relevant workload trackers and queues to equitably and proactively organize and prioritize assignments
- Demonstrating a growth mindset when identifying areas for improvement and seeking guidance and assistance when necessary
- Role modeling professionalism and editing proficiency in official and unofficial mentorship to junior team members
- Following established procedures and protocols to efficiently produce the most streamlined, consistent products
- Consulting with team members effectively and in advance of deadlines when required to organize responsibilities, timelines, and priorities
- Pitching, developing, fine tuning, and implementing team and department-wide professional development, resource building, and improvement initiatives
What You'll Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (master’s degree in a related field a plus)
- 5+ years applicable and professional English-language experience (e.g., editing, technical editing, instruction, etc.)
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting to consistently meet individual, team, and department goals
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
