We are looking for a Technology FP&A Senior Manager who is interested in charting the future of Reddit. You will partner with the most senior executives across engineering, finance, and accounting to provide financial insights that will sway the future direction of the company. You will be the guiding force behind many of the decisions made at the highest levels of the organization by analyzing business performance and adding strategic value to business partners by providing actionable insights with a focus on driving financial health for the company.

What You’ll Learn:

As the Technology FP&A Senior Manager working on delivering key financial insights to business partners, you will learn everything and anything about what drives Reddit from a financial perspective. You will work side by side with a world-class org of Technology and Business practitioners who work together to help Reddit achieve its mission. The Technology Finance team is brand new, so it’s an exciting time to get a chance to define what this team at Reddit looks like. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead finance and strategy support for business leaders within the Engineering organization
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to develop business cases for critical new initiatives
  • Build budgeting, forecasting and variance tracking processes for managing spend across the Engineering organization
  • Work closely with Procurement and Engineering spend owners to conduct deal analysis on vendor contract renewals and net new vendor spend
  • Develop analyses on contingent workforce and software to inform rationalization opportunities across the company
  • Lead finance reviews at a regular cadence to share performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on latest data
  • Improve and scale by developing repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all important partners, including standardizing and automating reports and improving how we leverage internal systems 
  • Build detailed product analyses that inform investment decisions within the Engineering and Product teams
  • Provide other strategic analyses for the Technology and finance leadership teams

Who You Might Be:

  • 10+ years of experience in a combination of corporate finance, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, business operations, or similar functions. Prior corporate finance experience is required
  • Prior experience in large technology companies supporting engineering and/or operations
  • Ability to communicate detailed analyses with an exec level audience in a structured manner, distilling key insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experienced building business and product P&Ls and forecasts
  • Enjoys constructing detailed, bottoms-up models that inform strategic investment decisions
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Ability to work cross functionality and drive alignment across the organization 
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Workday, Adaptive, NetSuite, etc) 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Executives across the company 
  • Comfortable working in environments with a lot of ambiguity and excited to build new analyses and processes that have a large impact on the organization

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:

$183,500—$275,300 USD
