About Chase and the Design Strategy Team
Chase's Design Strategy & Transformation team is growing, and we are looking for a rock star designer to focus on designing solutions that guide large scale innovation and solve complex financial problems for our customers.
As a Senior Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing holistic experience strategies and systems that reflect deep empathy for customers and provide scalable, integrated outcomes for our business. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders, using a variety of storytelling, visualization, and framing techniques to convey opportunities that will directly shape the development of our consumer and employee facing products.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working on the Transformation side of our DCE Strategy team to identify scalable solutions to the opportunities we uncover in research, with the goal of transforming our ways of working within Chase. You will help build prototypes to allow the teams to test/iterate our concepts.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, product designers, technologists and business experts to identify new opportunities that create value for customers in order to achieve shared goals.
Synthesize disparate inputs from user research, competitor analysis, business requirements and data into compelling opportunities and visions.
Create visual artifacts that capture insights, convey ideas, and inspire new thinking.
Advocate for a human centered design process and support the process of developing mindsets/ personas, jobs to be done, end to end journeys, service blueprints, prototypes, and strategic frameworks.
Effectively communicate to socialize, garner executive-level support for deliverables, influence roadmaps and build consensus among stakeholders with diverse needs
Requirements:
3+ years of experience with user experience design and holds a degree or experience in visual design, product design, interface architecture, design strategy, UX research, HCI, service design, design thinking or related field
Experience in using a diverse set of methods & tools drawn from different functions, including (not limited to) Design Transformations, Behavioral Design, Futurism, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Service Design, Data Visualization, Strategy, Psychology, Ethnographic Research, Human Centered Design, Systems Thinking.
Understanding of front-end development technologies for web and mobile platforms.
Adept and empathic human-centered designer and creative thinker, who can conceive and articulate service experiences that consider physical and digital interactions.
Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively present concepts and justify design decisions.
Can work under the guidance of a design strategy lead and collaborate easily and productively with teams.
Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences.
