Salary

$70,000 - $120,000

About the job

The Sr. UX Designer is a key part of the Design group. The person in this role will assist in leading UX activities on projects and support in setting UX standards for the design team and CQL. On projects, they will work closely with the client, creative lead, and technical team to design and deliver high quality user-centered experiences. Key activities include facilitating design workshops, gathering requirements, conducting user research, designing user journeys, sitemaps, taxonomies, wireframes, UI specs, and prototypes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree specializing in UX Design/Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a digital agency serving retail and manufacturing brands
  • 4+ years of UX design experience
  • Fluent in design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe products, etc.)
  • Familiarity with commerce and content management systems (such as WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce, BigCommerce)
  • Comfortable presenting and explaining recommendations and work to internal teams & clients
  • Ability to provide as well as receive constructive feedback and apply it to future performance
  • Possess a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

You Will

  • Design and production of UX activities and deliverables
  • Provide UX design and leadership for UX design portion of projects
  • Conduct industry, best practice, and user research; translate findings into recommendations & designs
  • Conduct workshops & discovery sessions with clients to gather requirements
  • Translate requirements into optimized, best practice, content-focused wireframes
  • Create intuitive, conversion-focused site architectures that align with user goals & journeys
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high quality designs on schedule
  • Produce specifications to communicate interface rules & functionality to developers
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, platforms, etc.
