TeamSnap is hiring a Staff Accountant to administer general accounting operations, including AP, GL and Expenses, by processing and verifying our financial transactions.
What You'll Do:
- Responsibility for day-to-day and month-end general accounting activities, including AP, cash & credit card receipts, employee expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, GL, etc.
- Support month-end and year-end close process with account reconciliations
- Produce accounting reports and present their results
- Assist with annual audit
- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
What Will Set You Up for Success:
- 2+ years of accounting experience. Solid application of GAAP in a SaaS company. Public accounting experience a plus
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Expensify, Bill.com and Zuora

Compensation
We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers. The minimum starting point for this role is $70,000, inclusive of base and bonus, with comp updated based on multiple factors. Our comp is highly competitive in our space and we adjust overall comp based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Location
TeamSnap is a fully remote company, so you need to be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same time zone as you. We are always expanding, but there is a small list of states we do not hire in, including Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and South Dakota, and while we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.
