Why is a Supply Chain Coordinator important to us?
Shapeways is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the Global Supply Chain team to drive the operational performance of our manufacturing network.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will have responsibility for monitoring and managing vendor KPIs including SLA performance, quality, and cost effectiveness. This position will support Supply Chain Managers through Manufacturing Execution System hygiene, SOP and information repository upkeep, and order/shipment escalations. This role provides the opportunity to learn from some of the best Supply Chain professionals in the industry and take on key tasks to help the success and growth of the business.
In this role, you will:
- Report to the Sourcing & Procurement Operations Manager, work remotely and independently in the Netherlands or North America region. There may be occasional travel to visit suppliers, Shapeways offices, customer sites, etc.
- Improve the customer experience by monitoring orders through Shapeways systems and proactively escalating and resolving issues internally or with our partner suppliers.
- Assist with administrative tasks associated with supplier qualifying and onboarding, order entry, as well as updating lead times and costs in Shapeways’ proprietary systems.
- Collaborate with SC Managers to perform root cause analysis and resolve customer facing supplier quality issues.
- Manage administrative tasks associated with upkeep of Supply Chain SOP repositories.
- Survey supplier capabilities and update internal documentation.
You might be a good fit if (you have/are):
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in Manufacturing Operations or Supply Chain Management.
- A holistic view on the interaction between business processes and outcomes.
- Affinity with data interpretation, data analysis with the ability to focus and prioritize accordingly.
- Excellent proficiency in using the full Google software suite and Microsoft Excel.
- A detail oriented multi-tasker who loves getting stuff done.
- Great communicator, friendly, personable, and always customer focused.
- A passionate, results driven team player that loves to think critically and innovate.
