Support Programmer - Software Releases

Our Card Processing Solutions team is seeking a Release Support Programmer Analyst to provide programming support for new releases for existing software for our CPS platform. In this role, you will be working with external customers and internal teams to provide the necessary support for the annual releases. In this role, you must be able to multitask, be team-oriented, and provide excellent customer service. Our team of Programmer Analysts are dedicated to providing outstanding support and minimizing the impact for our financial institution clients. This position does work an on-call rotation that will be outside normal business hours and is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere within the United States.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Supports programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.
- Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
- Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
- Provides programming support for various interfaces.
- Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience programming in an object-oriented programming language from either a professional or educational background.
- Willing to work in a programming support environment as this is not developing new code.
- Willing to work in an on-call rotation that is outside of normal business hours.
What would be nice for you to have:
- RPG Experience
- Bachelor's degree in CIS or data processing field.
- Experience working in a financial institution.
- SQL experience.
