System Administrator I

The primary mission of Catchpoint CIT is to ensure our staff can work efficiently and securely across all our global locations. This is a position for an enthusiastic, organized, and competent IT support technician.

You must be comfortable and have solid experience supporting users on both Windows and MAC across different locations.

Responsibilities

  • Primary role is to provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, training, and tech support to end users.
  • Preparing machines for staff use (OS/updates/necessary software).
  • Responding to user requests from all offices, following through on requests and escalating those that need attention. Good customer skills and attention to detail are a must.
  • Maintaining and updating inventory of all Catchpoint office assets including software.
  • Ensure on-board and termination of employees are processed efficiently, and access granted or revoked to systems.
  • Administer access to applications used by staff including license count.

Skills:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience with System / Network Administration.
  • Windows 11, Windows Server, MAC OS
  • Familiarity and experience with cloud-based SaaS applications
  • Familiarity with Network firewall and troubleshooting
  • Carry values such as integrity, collaborative and eager to learn.
  • Experience with Azure Ad and Zendesk is a plus

  • Customer-focused
  • Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting remote access issues
  • Excellent communication skills, (active listening skills)
  • Able to articulate and speak with clear voice
  • Diplomatic and must have interpersonal skills
  • Able to understand the business’s objectives
  • Able to understand and accept that the Customer’s issues affect the business and that without the Customer there is no support department, and that the Customer is an expert in their own field
