Candidates hired for this position will work as part of our Staff Augmentation group.

The System Analyst will join a team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems for a managed service provider (MSP). This position will be responsible for managing systems operations, including tasks such as research, development, design, deployment, and maintenance. Ability to analyze server and application architectures to optimize performance and security and provide high-quality customer experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed for documenting testing procedures, test results, deployment recommendations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and security documentation. As part of a collaborative environment, the applicant will work with other teams and project managers regularly. Candidate will require the ability to troubleshoot various hardware and software issues on time.

Essential Functions

  • Work with diverse teams and provide technical direction to MSP clients and internal resources
  • Participate in technical meetings regarding the design and implementation of processes and technology
  • Evaluate and test new technology and IT trends to define new policies and technical strategies
  • Provide technical mentoring and training to team members of multiple departments
  • Participate in break/fix incidents, as well as routinely participating in root cause analysis
  • Demonstrate both technical acumen and critical thinking abilities
  • Understand and report on KPIs and daily operational metrics, routinely referencing contracts to ensure customer service delivery and internal operations alignment
  • Routinely work out of the company ticketing system
  • Create and update technical documentation
  • Participate and lead in project-based activities
  • Provide support for service quality management and performance
  • Participate in emergency incident response activities
  • Install new and rebuild existing on-premise and cloud-based enterprise services
  • As needed, perform monitoring of performance, security, and system health analysis reports
  • Verify integrity and availability of all systems hardware and resource processes
  • Routinely and frequently work with the company NOC, Professional Services, Managed Services, Service Management, and Project Management group to schedule resources, track and assure completion dates, and provide network support as needed
  • Review system logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs and tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS – Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (C1 or better)
  • Experience working on technical systems deployed on-premise and across cloud platforms
  • Experience in administration of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Server and Azure management
  • Hands-on experience and management of Active Directory domain services and Group Policy
  • Hands-on experience and management of DNS and DHCP configuration
  • Experience in enterprise patching solutions
  • Experience with SaaS administration and security
  • Experience in designing and implementing Azure SaaS cloud services such as Azure AD and AAD Conditional Access
  • Configuration of AADConnect and other single sign-on solutions
  • Experience in building and managing federation service solutions such as ADFS
  • Experience optimizing system performance and resolving production challenges
  • Resolving server and application issues across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS-related compute systems
  • Interpreting and maintaining system documentation and designs
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions and troubleshooting concepts
  • Experience with scripting
  • Experience in working with and managing VMWare and Hyper-V platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365/Azure/Systems Certifications

  • These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure the successful operation of activities in the organization.
  • The position may require Travel to customer and Quest locations.
