The Tableau Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for various stakeholders. This role will primarily focus on understanding the data needs of the organization, working across teams, and transforming data into visually compelling analytics solutions using Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development: Create, publish, and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring that the data flows seamlessly into the Tableau environment.
  • Data Visualization: Transform complex data sets into simple and understandable visuals to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboards and data processes to ensure high performance and usability for end-users.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal users to help them understand the dashboards and data insights effectively.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and resolve any data quality issues.
  • Shift Requirement: Availability to work in the US Shift (Pacific Time Zone) to align with stakeholders in different time zones.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including dashboard creation, data visualization, and data integration.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, and other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with integrating data from multiple data sources.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Tableau solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to perform exploratory data analysis to extract meaningful insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in working with business intelligence tools other than Tableau (e.g., Power BI, QlikView).
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and optimizing performance in Tableau.
